Leading a colony of frightened people on a new world is rarely easy. The human colonists of Terranue have as their leader, Tamsarandem, the only Soul-bond of Three that has ever existed. Unfortunately, some perceive the innate kindness in the shaman’s choice of leaders as a weakness, thus, challenges begin. From the moment they arrive on the planet, self-survival instincts take hold among the people, putting everyone at risk.
To survive, they must act for the good of the colony rather themselves, even when their natural instincts tell them to do the opposite. First, they must befriend the dominant intelligent life form on the planet, long-haired blue cattle, only slightly smaller than the blue bull Tamsarandem brought with them. Second, they must find a way to survive three of the planet’s five seasons. Otherwise, they’ll be baked, frozen, and pummeled to death. Third, they must protect themselves from the giant bears, saber-tooth lions, and T. rexes that roam their planet. But worst of all, deep within the planet, a seed of evil grows, waiting to devour every living creature on the surface.
Every day in their new paradise is a challenge to survive. Despite all the advantages the Gods have provided, success is neither easy nor certain, and people are rarely as good as they need to be.

The people have finally landed on a new planet and must now face some of their toughest issues yet. Ms. O'Connor shares a tale of Gods as well as humans who seek to do the right thing even while battling people who aren't completely honest or seeking the Path of Light.
Book Three centers on the problems that the colonists encounter and give deeper insight into the Soul-Bonded Tamsarandem and their friend, Blue(who we also learn more about- much to my delight!)
Ms. O'Connor weaves humor into such dire consequences as life and death but in such a way that will leave you not only with a smile on your face but a better understanding of humanity. Wonderfully done and fans of unique science fiction such as The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I can't wait for the next book in this series!
Liza O’Connor has the knack of making the reader care for her unique characters. When the new colonists arrive on the planet of Terranue, the Soul-Bond of Tamsarandem encounters many of the difficulties of normal life people unwilling to do what is in their best interest, passive aggressive or overt opposition. The colonists only survive with the help of the big bull Blue and his people, the Sargon, who live on the planet. The story of the colonists’ difficulties is interwoven with the tribulations of the gods. The gods, notably aided by the sentient computer of their spaceship, MaryBell, are trying to shepherd the inhabitants of the universe onto the Path of Light. The probabilities plummet and then rise in mysterious ways, not always in accord with the lives of the colonists. What will happen next is uncertain.
I enjoyed the descriptions of the various inhabitants of Terranue and cannot wait to learn more about the mysterious probabilities driving these stories.
